Just in time for 4/20 we’ve brought in another true classic! Girl Scout Cookies is an indica-dominant hybrid with a strong sativa component (40:60 sativa/indica ratio). A cross between the South African Durban poison, and OG Kush, which Originated on the west coast, this iconic strain has been used to breed numerous descendends, including many sherbet, mint and cake strains. This strain can reach THC levels of up to 28%, making it still one of the most potent strains available on the market. This strain provides the best aspects of both sativa and indica, and the high is powerful, happy, and euphoric, but with couch-lock body effects and feelings of lethargy and the high lasts for hours. It’s most effective at treating anxiety, stress, and depression, though it’s also good for appetite. Although from our recollection Girl Scout Cookies wasn’t historically a huge strain in Ontario (unlike strains like White Widow and Blueberry), this is nonetheless a true classic worth trying.
